1. Acceptance of Terms

GreatBusinesses.org (the "Site") is operated by Cassus Media LLC ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Site, creating an account, or publishing a listing, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility and Scope

The Site is for businesses operating in the United States. You may only submit American business addresses and American phone numbers. By creating a listing you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of the business you are listing, and that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Your Content

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any content you submit, including your business name, description, logo, links, and any messages you send. You retain ownership of your content and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, index, and promote it in connection with operating the Site.

4. Public Listings; No Promise Against Third-Party Scraping

Listings on the Site are publicly accessible. We do not promise, warrant, or guarantee that the data you publish will not be accessed, indexed, copied, scraped, cached, or otherwise reused by third parties, including search engines, crawlers, AI training systems, data brokers, or other automated tools. You publish your listing with full knowledge and acceptance of this risk.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, infringing, defamatory, or unlawful content;
• Impersonate another business or person;
• Use the Site to send spam or solicit users without consent;
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems;
• Scrape, mirror, or build derivative databases from the Site without our written permission.

6. Termination

We may suspend or remove any listing or account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your listing or account at any time from your dashboard or settings.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability; Hold Harmless

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Cassus Media LLC, its affiliates, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Cassus Media LLC harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Cassus Media LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
